The purpose of this animation I have created is so that we remember the back story of the Sewol ferry tragedy and remember all the 304 people who passed away. While I was working on this project, I had a lot to learn and a lot to research. But as I was learning, I had many thoughts on how the students might have felt especially because we are in the same age gap. I also thought that it may have been an incident that could have been prevented. Moreover, I wanted to portray the lost lives and their souls going into our hearts so that we can remember them. I would like the judges to know that I created this so that it can spread the message of this tragedy to people all over the world and stop further similar incidents from occurring again.

제 애니메이션은 세월호 참사의 이야기를 알고 304명의 희생자들을 기억하기를 바라는 마음으로 제작되었습니다. 제가 이 프로젝트를 하는 동안 정말 배울것도 또 리서치 할 것도 많았습니다. 하지만 배우는 동안 저와 같은 나이 또래였던 그 학생들이 그 순간 어떤 마음이었을까 하는 생각을 많이 하게 되었씁니다. 그리고 배우고 나니, 이것은 막을 수 있었던 참사였다라는 생각도 들었습니다. 또한 잃어버린 생명과 그들의 영혼이 우리의 그들을 기억할 수 있게 마음속으로 들어오는 모습도 그리고 싶었습니다. 이 참사를 전세계 사람들에게 널리 알리고 유사한 사건이 다시 발생하지 않도록 하기 위해 이 영상을 제작하였습니다.
