"I did a lot of animation effects of different objects morphing into one another to display the many symbols associated with the tragedy. I really wanted this video to open up this event to the next generation of learners at school and for us to always share and remember. I want these students' names to be remembered because, in such an event like this, it may seem hard to imagine that each and every one of these names are people, just like us. I hope that this animation will help introduce a younger generation in a learning environment to the Sewol Ferry disaster and encourage them to learn more about the symbols present in the video, and just like the dog at the harbor, share this with other people, so that it will never be forgotten.

참사를 표현하기 위해 참사에 관련된 기호나 물체가 변형되고 연결되는 효과를 사용하여 애니매이션을 제작하였습니다. 저의 이 영상이 다음 세대에게 이 참사를 알리고 기억함에 도움이 되기를 바랬습니다. 또한 이런 참사에서 희생자 한사람 한사람도 결국 우리와 다를 바 없는 사람이었다는 사실이 인식되고 기억되기를 바라는 마음으로, 희생 된 학생들의 이름들도 넣었습니다. 저의 이 애니메이션이 어린 세대들에게 세월호 참사의 대해 배울 수 있는 도구로 사용되기를 바랍니다. 또한 그들이 이 비디오에 나오는 상징들, 특히 항구의 강아지와 같은 상징도 잘 이해함으로써 친구들과 세월호 참사의 아픔을 잘 공유할 수 있기를, 그리하야 이 참사가 절대 잊혀지지 않게 되기를 바랍니다."
